Family Chamber Music Fest- Online Edition
July 6 to July 18, 2020
We hope you and your family are doing well during this crazy time we’re living in.
Maybe you too have really missed making music in real time (I know I have!). Many of our students have complained about not being able to play chamber music together.
We’ve all got a bit of cabin fever so if you and the kids are crawling the walls, this program may just be your ticket to chamber music nirvana!
Introducing the first ever Family Chamber Music Fest— Online Edition
Two-week innovative chamber music program custom tailored for you and your family members so that you can participate from home.
Open to all levels and ages, taught in a nurturing and creative environment by Duo Cello e Basso
-
Daily coachings and guided rehearsals to keep the fun in family music-making.
-
Plus a daily joint workshop for all the groups. We’ll focus on effective practice, playing from your core, the dos and don’ts of communication skills in chamber music, building confidence in performance and a music meets arts project!
-
Q & A sessions following each workshop so you can ask questions you didn’t dare ask before
-
Faculty open rehearsals so participants can see and hear the Duo in action
-
Recordings of all coachings, workshops and recitals will be made available
-
Special presentations and “listening” labs on great soloists and chamber music ensembles
All that and a celebratory Participant performance and virtual potluck at the end of each week on Zoom.
Wondering how this will work for you?
-
We will scour our music library sources to find music that will challenge you and will be appropriate for every member of your family
-
We will design a flexible schedule that will meet your family needs
-
We will create fun arts activities for the whole family
